The vinery
Our exquisite Vinery is the location for your indoor ceremony and your main celebration. Bedecked with a plethora of chandeliers and the biggest gold disco ball ever, it is the perfect setting for your wedding. It comes complete with luxury mirrored bar complete with professional mixologists, stage, professional lighting, and our state-of-the-art sound system for your chosen band/DJ, along with our dry ice dance floor for the perfect first dance, a built-in projector and screen, and of course, our complimentary in-house styling team.

Breathe in the sensual fragrance of oud and jasmine throughout our exceptional venue, celebrate the cornucopia of taste and flavours, abandon yourself and let our highly experienced team of service specialists take care of you and your loved ones for the duration of your stay.
You have exclusive use of our wonderful venue for the duration of your wedding, including access to the incredible Vinery for your ceremony, the Garden Room for drinks reception, wrap around patio for amazing views across North Yorkshire, giant chess set, and gorgeous gardens for perfect photos. Your wedding party has access to our luxurious preparation suite on the morning of your wedding with space for hair and make-up team, separate bathroom, sofas and refreshments.
We have thought of everything at Solberge Hall. From our complimentary luxury glassware, cake stands, postbox and tea light candles, to our fire pits, table plan easels & frames, and lanterns – they are all included! As your experienced guides we want you to enjoy your day hassle-free, so we’ll take care of everything for you which is why we provide not one, but two wedding day co-ordinators!
CEREMONIES
We have a variety of spaces for you to exchange your vows. The Vinery is our chandelier heaven with views across the rolling hills of North Yorkshire, perfect for large gatherings.
If you’re more of a free spirit, why not get married outdoors on our private estate amongst the ancient trees under a blue sky. We have our wedding arbour that can be beautifully bedecked in flowers, or why not embrace a rustic vibe and have a celebrant led hand fasting in the woodland?
For the more traditional at heart, we have two beautiful ancient churches on our doorstep. St Michael and All Angels in North Otterington is the church at the end of our private driveway (for the ultimate in privacy… it’s a bit like being famous for 24 hours) and was originally part of the estate. Whilst the slightly larger St Andrew’s Church, South Otterington, is a stone’s throw away in the closest village of Newby Wiske.
THE WEDDING SUITE
Our luxury decadent wedding suite has a free standing bath, chandeliers, enormous shower, and a sumptuous super king sized bed. With views across rolling countryside, it is the perfect place to wake up on the morning of your wedding.
Adjoining the Wedding Suite is our preparation room. This is the perfect spot for your wedding party to get ready for the big day. Enormous gilded mirrors, plenty of plug sockets, hanging space for important outfits, and a separate bathroom too. Start your wedding morning with a little bit of luxury before you head downstairs to say your vows.
THE GROUNDs
Set within a breathtaking panorama that spans the scenic North Yorkshire countryside for miles around, Solberge Hall is situated on a picturesque 9 acre gated private estate, a stone’s throw from Northallerton.
Outside the Hall, you will find our terrace and classic English garden with exquisite ancient trees, our beautiful oak arbour and kitchen garden, not to mention our sweeping driveway, and traditional columned entrance complete with foliage canopy and hundreds of twinkling lights. Photo opportunities abound with every turn whether it be Winter or Summer.
Solberge Hall is the perfect country location, just 2 hours 20 minutes from Kings Cross station, and with ample car parking for guests.
