solberge hall about

Set in rolling landscapes on its own private Estate, Solberge Hall was originally built in 1824 by John Hutton, a wealthy local landowner and by all accounts ‘a real English country gentleman’.

Now, Solberge Hall is part of the Wharfedale Group of wedding venues and is currently undergoing an extensive transformation to become the North’s leading country house wedding destination. We look forward to opening the doors on our exciting new venue this summer.

Unrivalled Luxury

A Showstopping Wedding Venue

Solberge Hall has retained many of its original Georgian features and our restoration and interior design team will enhance its interior to create a showstopping wedding venue like no other.

Set in the rolling North Yorkshire landscape, Solberge has its own woodland and fabulous grounds, that will create a beautiful backdrop for luxury weddings. We’re very excited to unveil this new Solberge Hall in all its glory this summer. For more information on wedding packages, click the link below.

Whilst we are embarking on an extensive refurbishment to restore the Hall’s original beauty and enhance the character of this fine building, Solberge is currently still open as a hotel.

Our wonderful team who work tirelessly behind the scenes, are dedicated to ensuring your stay at Solberge is a happy one. From our head chef to our chambermaids, our aim is to welcome you to our wonderful hotel.
