THE NEW SOLBERGE HALL
TWO HUNDRED YEARS IN THE MAKING
CREATING AN EXCLUSIVE COUNTRY HOUSE LIKE NO OTHER
Set in rolling landscapes on its own private gated Estate, Solberge Hall was originally built in 1824 by John Hutton, a wealthy local landowner and by all accounts ‘a real English country gentleman’.
Now, Solberge Hall is part of the Wharfedale Group and has undergone an extensive transformation to become the North’s leading country house wedding and events destination.
Solberge Hall is a showstopping venue that pays homage to the original Georgian architecture, whilst embracing a bold new vision.
Lavish, decadent and sumptuously appointed, Solberge Hall has been transformed.
MEET CLAIRE
Having spent her early years styling for Libertys of London, Claire had an illustrious career in interior design, before transforming the family farm into the prestigious wedding venue Wharfedale Grange.
She single-handedly managed the conversion of the popular Wharfedale Grange, and has since headed up the restoration of Solberge Hall.
Claire’s daughter Allegra has been involved in the Wharfedale Group since its inception and continues to be involved on a day to day basis at both venues.
THE TEAM
The Solberge Family is now part of the Wharfedale Group, and includes a wonderful team of friendly wedding co-ordinators, florists, mixologists, and support staff.
